Behind the work

I am a Liverpool-based illustrator, working primarily in traditional media, particularly coloured pencil, graphite and watercolour.

Most of my work is deeply influenced by my love for animals and nature. I hope for my illustrations to encourage connection and curiosity in the natural world, exploring small moments that may otherwise go unnoticed.

Alongside this, I’m passionate about using illustration with intention. Whether for education or to support causes I care about, I’m interested in how illustration can potentially simplify complex learning and encourage an accessible, inclusive way to learn for children and adults alike.

Ultimately, I hope to make things that are comforting and inviting, whilst having meaning that goes beyond the surface. Offering not only beauty, but also connection and understanding
